Sketching is the best.

Just before the holidays, I had this portrait project to finish in time for Christmas.  My client had contacted me in the hopes of having the portrait done as a Christmas gift....so, paint away I did.

Popping the drawing out is probably the best part of the process.  It's a real twist, taking the features and messing around with them to come up with something a little edgy, crazy, and fun, yet still carries a resemblance.  I haven't met him, but from what I know, he looks a little like this....
